Reservation and Cancellation Policies

At the moment most products and services available at Travel Tammela site are provided by Portaan Nahkurinverstas Oy.

In case there will be products and services provided by other operators, each operator will have their own booking and cancellation terms and there will be links available to all of those at this site. 

 

PORTAAN NAHKURINVERSTAS OY BOOKING, PAYMENT AND CANCELLATION TERMS

These booking, payment and cancellation terms and conditions apply to the operations of Portaan Nahkurinverstas Oy, business ID 2075277-9, unless other terms and conditions have been separately agreed. These terms and conditions are valid until further notice.

 

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS APPLICABLE TO ALL RESERVATIONS

Booking

Reservations can be made via this online Travel Tammela reservation system, by email, by phone or by verbal agreement on site. Certain services, such as accommodation, can also be booked via third-party booking systems. Reservations can only be made by persons over 18 years of age.

Payments

The customer pays for the reservation using the payment method chosen by them, in accordance with the terms and conditions of the payment method. When making a reservation through the Travel Tammela online store or a third-party online booking system, payment is usually possible at the time of booking, and in some cases, purchasing a service also requires payment at the time of booking. Additional information about the payment methods on the Travel Tammela website is available on the Payment Methods page of the website.

If the reservation has not been paid in advance, reservations made by individuals must be paid on site during the accommodation or event, unless otherwise agreed. When paying on site, the payment methods accepted by Portaan Nahkurinverstas are the most common debit cards, credit cards Visa, Visa Electron, MasterCard and Maestro, and cash.

In case the reservation concerns a group of at least 10 people or the booker is a company or other organization, the price of the reservation can also be invoiced afterwards. In this case, Portaan Nahkurinverstas has the right to add an invoicing fee to the invoice. The payment term for invoices is 14 days and the default interest is in accordance with the interest law.

Other general terms and conditions applicable to all reservations

In case the customer harms Portaan Nahkurinverstas' property, Portaan Nahkurinverstas has the right to charge compensation, which will be defined according to the damage caused.

Force majeure

In the event of force majeure, Portaan Nahkurinverstas Oy may terminate the rental agreement or cancel the reservation. The customer who has rented/reserved the property will be notified of the termination without delay. In such a case, the customer has the right to receive a full refund of the rent paid.

Any costs incurred by the customer as a result of a rental agreement terminated due to force majeure will not be reimbursed.

 

ACCOMMODATION RESERVATIONS TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Reservations and confirmations

When making a reservation, the booker must provide Portaan Nahkurinverstaa with the information specified in the reservation. The reservation is confirmed when the booker has received a reservation confirmation. This can be done in writing or through the booking system.

The accommodation may not be used by more people than those stated when making the reservation.

Changes and cancellations

Changes and cancellations to reservations made through an online store or other online booking system must be made through the same system as the original reservation. Otherwise, changes or cancellations can be made by contacting us either by email at info@nahkurinverstas.fi or by phone at +358 (0) 40 767 5928.

It is possible to cancel an apartment reservation free of charge 5 days before the start date of the accommodation by 12:00.

If the accommodation is booked as part of a package that also includes meals (other than breakfast) or guided service, the reservation must be cancelled 7 days before the start date of the accommodation.

If the customer does not cancel the reservation before the above-mentioned deadlines or does not arrive, Portaan Nahkurinverstaa has the right to charge the customer an amount corresponding to the price of one day of accommodation according to the booking information.

Certain discount price reservations do not have the option of cancellation. This is always mentioned in the details of the reservation when making the reservation and in the reservation confirmation.

Other terms related to accommodation reservations

The accommodation is available from 3 pm on the day of arrival. The estimated time of arrival must be notified to Portaan Nahkurinverstaa in advance.

On the day of departure, the check-out time is 12 pm at the latest.

The key is available from the café-restaurant cashier during its opening hours, and otherwise there will be a person on site to hand over the keys. The key is returned to the staff or left at a location agreed upon the customer's arrival.

The owner has the right to charge all costs incurred for rekeying or changing the locks in full for a lost or unreturned key.

If the guest notices any defects or other things to note in the property, he/she must immediately notify the person responsible for reservation management. If the rental period is a maximum of 7 days, the customer is responsible for the cleanliness of the property and the removal of waste during the rental period.

If the rental period is more than 7 days, Portaan Nahkurinverstas will clean the property once a week at no additional charge.

Portaan Nahkurinverstas will take care of the normal final cleaning of the property at the end of the reservation at no additional charge.

If the apartment requires extra cleaning that deviates from the normal final cleaning, Portaan Nahkurinverstas has the right to charge an additional fee for that cleaning.

The guest/booker is obliged to compensate the apartment or other property in full for any damage caused by smoking. Smoking in the accommodation premises is strictly prohibited and the customer is liable for additional cleaning caused by smoking. The compensation to be charged is €100.

Pets are welcome in our accommodations. However, the booker must always inform Portaan Nahkurinverstas about pets in advance, and an additional fee of €15 per pet per booking will be charged. The customer is responsible for any damage caused by the pet.

 

TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR MEETINGS, PARTIES AND OTHER GROUP BOOKINGS

Group booking terms and conditions apply for groups of min. 10 people and always in case of party or meeting reservations.

Reservations and confirmations

Reservations can be made via the booking system, by email or by phone. The reservation is binding once the customer has accepted the offer and Portaan Nahkurinversas has confirmed it in writing.

Informing Portaan Nahkurinverstas about the number of people (by the customer)

The number of people attending events that include meals or coffee service must be confirmed by the booker no later than 7 days before the event begins, unless otherwise agreed.

Any special diets and allergies must also be reported at the same time as the number of people being confirmed.

For activities and other such services that do not include meals, the number of people must be confirmed 3 days before the event begins, unless otherwise agreed.

Billing will be based on the number of people notified by the above-mentioned deadlines, even if the actual number of participants at the event is lower.

If the actual number of participants at the event is greater than the number of people notified by the above-mentioned deadlines, the billing is based on the actual number of participants.

Cancellation terms of group reservations

In case the reservation is completely canceled, Portaan Nahkurinverstas will invoice as follows:

Cancellation at least 30 days before the event: no charge.

Cancellation 14-30 days before the event: 50% of the order value will be charged.

Cancellation 7-14 days before the event: 75% of the order value will be charged.

Cancellation less than 7 days before the event: 100% of the order value will be charged.

Reservations made through the online Travel Tammela reservation system must be canceled through the same system. Otherwise, cancellations must be notified in writing by email to info@nahkurinverstas.fi or by phone to +358 (0)40 767 5928.

Portaan Nahkurinverstas will confirm cancellations in writing.

 

TERMS AND CONDITIONS RELATED TO ACTIVITY BOOKINGS

The booker adheres to follow the instructions received from the service provider and to use the equipment and safety equipment used in activities and other services in accordance with the instructions.

The service provider has the right to remove a person who disrupts the group's activities, endangers the group's safety, or is intoxicated. In such cases, the service provider is not liable for compensation for the interrupted service.

The prevailing weather conditions may bring changes to the service schedule and program. If the change is due to ensuring safety, the service provider is not liable for compensation for the change. In the event of a change or cancellation due to weather conditions, the service provider is obliged to present the booker with a new time for the service to be carried out. The booker has the right to accept the proposal or reject it and cancel the reservation free of charge.

 

TERMS AND CONDITIONS RELATED TO ONLINE BOOKINGS VIA TRAVEL TAMMELA WEBSITE

Terms and conditions related to product orders made through the Travel Tammela website

Products have a 14-day right of return in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act.

The right of return is only valid if the product is in the same condition as the original. Any product packaging must also be saleable. Please contact info@nahkurinverstas.fi for more detailed return instructions.

The right of return does not apply to engraved or other personalized products.

We follow the warranty terms specified by the manufacturer or importer.

Shipping costs include postage and packaging costs. You can view the shipping costs after selecting the payment and delivery method in the shopping cart.

 

General terms and conditions related to orders and reservations made through the Travel Tammela website

The prices in the online service include applicable VAT.

We apply dynamic pricing to accommodation facilities. Prices depend on the time of day and may vary monthly, weekly and daily.

We reserve the right to change prices.

The customer is responsible for the accuracy of the information provided.

Portaan Nahkurinverstas Oy has the right to use and disclose registered address information for direct advertising, distance selling and other direct marketing, as well as market and opinion surveys, unless the customer prohibits this. The prohibition can be made by contacting Portaan Nahkurinverstas via the contact information mentioned in the terms and conditions.

Portaan Nahkurinverstas reserves the right to change the delivery terms and conditions.

Before ordering, the customer must familiarize himself with the delivery terms and conditions in force at any time.
